Oronoque Road John Doe

In August of 1992, a couple was walking in a wooded area near Oronoque Road in Milford, Connecticut when they discovered skeletal remains wrapped in a pink blanket, an olive-colored blanket, and two green trash bags. The remains were determined to be from an Asian male between the ages of 18 to 25. He was estimated to be between 5’3” and 5’6” and weighed between 120 and 140 pounds. His cause of death was determined to be two gunshot wounds to the head, and they believed he had been murdered up to two months prior. Several items of clothing were also recovered from where the remains were found, including a size XL “Fruit of the Loom” brand undershirt, a brown belt with a yellow metal buckle, a pair of size 27-waist denim pants, a long-sleeve button-down shirt with logo "Forever" on the left chest pocket, and a pair of size 30-32 “Fruit of the Loom” brand white underwear. Waqas Rehman

On December 1st, 2010, shots were fired at The Smoker’s Shop in Hartford, Connecticut. Police responded to find 42-year-old Waqas “Victor” Rehman, shot multiple times, who later died from his injuries. His case staled for over 12 years when suddenly DNA taken from a live round at the scene of the crime was linked to 32-year-old Shawn Milner in early 2023. Milner was charged with Rehman’s murder and is being held on $2 million bail, as well as serving time for nine other pending criminal cases.
