Jose Nunez

On July 28th, 2020, at just before 9:00am, 14-year-old Jose Nunez was reported missing by his family when they woke up and saw the front door of their Bridgeport, Connecticut home left open. Police found Jose’s body within 24 hours of him being reported missing. Jose was found in a wooded area 20 miles away in Oxford, Connecticut, and it was revealed that he had been strangled. 19-year-old Diante Willoughby was arrested shortly after for Jose’s murder. Diante had been communicating with Jose on the social media app Snapchat and had lured him out of his home at 4:00am to have sex with him. Jose was a high school freshman who loved playing basketball and video games and really enjoyed snakes. Jose's stepfather Higinio Campos, stated “I want to make it clear to all parents: please take care of the kids with the phones. This guy was tricking him the whole time. The older guys can easily manipulate children. Take care of your children, please.”

Jaithian Amador

On September 3rd, 2018, Lawrence, Massachusetts police were called to a potential drive-by shooting. Upon arrival, 20-year-old Jaithian “Jay” Amador was found with several gunshot wounds to the head. He was transported to Lawrence General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. To this day, there has been no one charged in the young father’s murder.
