Case Profiles #49
Waldemar Feliciano
19-year-old Waldemar Feliciano was last seen by his girlfriend in the 60 block of Eastern Avenue in Worcester, Massachusetts on the morning of November 13th, 2005. Waldemar got up, got dressed, and told his girlfriend that he needed to make a few calls before walking out the door. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Waldemar was finally reported missing on December 26th when his family hadn’t heard from him over the holidays. Mayra Velez, Waldemar’s mother, put up fliers and attempted to ask around for any information, calling her son until his voicemail was full. About a year after he was reported missing, Mayra received a phone call from a blocked number, and the man on the other end claimed to be a friend of Waldemar’s and told his mother that Waldemar was dead and his body had been dismembered and disposed of. His case is now being treated as a possible homicide. At the time of his disappearance, Waldemar was 19-years-old and about 5'6-5'8, weighed 155-170 pounds, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and a baseball cap. He is a Hispanic male with brown hair and eyes. He has noticeable scarring on his left hand and his abdomen. For tattoos he has the words “Cry now” on his right forearm, the words “Laugh later” on his left forearm, the name “Wally” on his left arm and the name “Mayra” on his right arm. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Waldemar Feliciano is asked to please call the Worcester Police Department at 508-799-8651.
John Wesley Young III
John Wesley Young III was a caring, selfless, family-oriented man from Boston, Massachusetts. The 57-year-old was passionate about activism and his community, taking great pride in helping those around him whenever he could. You could often find John offering food to the homeless or running errands for the elderly when he wasn’t working as a bus driver throughout Boston. On November 24th, 2023, John failed to show up to a planned meeting with his wife, who he was separated from. Concerns were raised and he was reported missing. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with information and he was reported missing a second time on December 4th, 2023. There didn’t seem to be any communication coming from the police department to his family, so they did most of the work themselves, calling jails and hospitals, looking up public records online, etc. Sadly, on February 13th, 2024, John’s body was discovered partially submerged in Dorchester Bay. His manner of death has not been released at this time. Anyone with information about Young’s disappearance or death is urged to please call police at 617-343-5619 or submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-494-TIPS.
