Case Profiles #5

Khisean Desvarieux

19-year-old Khisean Desvarieux was Boston’s first homicide victim of 2017. He was shot to death on January 9th near a community center in the Orchard Gardens housing development in Roxbury, Massachusetts at about 7:27pm. The new father of a less than one-month-old baby ended up passing away from his injuries at a nearby hospital. Although witnesses did not identify a suspect or give a description, they informed police that the gunshots “sounded like the Fourth of July”. Police arrested a minor in relation to Khisean’s murder, but this minor maintains his innocence and is suing the Boston Police Department for racial profiling. Anyone with any information on the murder of Khisean Desvarieux is asked to please call homicide detectives at (617) 343-4470.

Tiffany Lomax

In the early morning hours of July 2nd, 2008, shots rang out in Mattapan, Massachusetts. 28-year-old Tiffany Lomax was in the passenger seat of a car with an unidentified man when someone drove by and shot up the car. The unidentified man was hit twice in the arm, while Tiffany was hit directly in the chest. Although injured, the driver brought Tiffany to the nearest hospital, where she soon died of her injuries. The man who was in the car with Tiffany remains unknown to this day, however it is alleged that he was a member of a local gang and this shooting was the result of gang violence. Tiffany had a 9-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter who she loved very much. Her goal was to move them out of the area and to somewhere safe, especially to get away from this kind of lifestyle. Unfortunately, Tiffany’s son became an orphan after she died, as his father had been stabbed to death two years prior. Anyone with any information on the murder of Tiffany Lomax is asked to please call 1-855-MA-SOLVE.
