Case Profiles #8
Keivan Heath
In May of 2016, a raging party was going on in the early hours of the morning in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. Over 100 people had showed up to this massive get together, which was rented out by five men for a supposed college reunion party. 33-year-old Keivan Heath was one of the guests, and he was so excited to be partying and letting loose… he was a father of two young sons after all. At roughly 3am, an altercation broke out and Keivan attempted to stop the trouble. In the midst of the confusion and the chaos, someone pulled out a gun and started firing. When the smoke cleared, Keivan had been shot twice in the chest, and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Over 6 years later, not one witness at the overcrowded party has come forward to reveal who murdered Keivan.
Marcos Cruz
On October 5th, 2003, Marcos “Mikey” Cruz was sitting in a car in the driveway in front of his friends home at the corner of West and Sisson streets in Pawtucket, Rhode Island when suddenly gunfire erupted out of nowhere. A woman was also in the car with him, and police said that they were both shot separately but that the bullets the woman was hit with went through her and into Mikey. Miraculously the woman survived, but Mikey passed away from his injuries despite his friend’s attempts to help him. He had survived a shooting several months prior in June, and authorities wonder if the perpetrator of that shooting was the same man who killed Mikey in his car. Anyone with any information on the murder of Marcos Cruz is asked to please call 1-877-RI-SOLVE.
