Case Profiles #27
Charline Rosemond
On April 6th, 2009, 23-year-old Charline Rosemond of Everett, Massachusetts had borrowed her dad’s car for the day, promising to bring it back later on after work and an errand. The errand was purchasing a used Lexus from a friend, so Charline brought with her the $4,000 she had saved up to purchase the car after work. Charline never returned home. Six days after her disappearance, her body was found in the driver’s seat of her dad’s car in an alley near the Mid Night Convenience store on Webster Ave in Union Square in Somerville, Massachusetts. She had a single gunshot wound to the head. The $4,000 cash that Charline had on her person was never found, and it’s believed that she was shot and killed in a robbery over the money. There have been no further leads or charges in Charline’s murder and the case has gone cold. Anyone with any information on the murder of Charline Rosemond is asked to please call the Middlesex County DA’s office at (781) 897-6600 or the Somerville Police Department at (617) 625-1600.
